I am a writer, scholar, and student of the good life in Christ. I believe reason and faith are not enemies but necessary companions, and that thinking properly is itself an act of devotion.
I was born in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho and raised along the coast of Southern California. I have spent the last ten years in the Kansas City corridor, where I am completing a degree in Creative Writing and English. I write fiction rooted in my desire to understand Jesus Christ more deeply, and essays that explore philosophical ideas in relation to human flourishing.
I reflect often on what it means to live well as a woman in accordance with my nature. In a world that has largely rejected God’s design for men and women, I push back, and I encourage other women to do the same.
On this site, you will find writing on what it means to be persuaded by Jesus, through whom and for whom all things exist, as well as essays on politics, culture, philosophy, literature, and wholesome living.
I believe the body and the soul are not separate concerns. I believe femininity must be restored. I believe the examined life is worth living and worth writing about.
I am a complementarian, a classical thinker, a lover of books, organic raw food, juicing, and a life ordered toward health.
